Gestalt Counsellor

Training and qualifying as a Counsellor in Hampshire, working in bereavement counselling and in an educational setting helped sharpen my interest in working with people interested in change. 

Having studied the humanistic approaches of Person-Centred and Gestalt Counselling I am a great supporter of their core concepts. When presented with the right environment a person can explore the things they wish to, at their pace, and achieve great change. To me, the Counsellors role is to create and maintain that safe setting, providing an important opportunity. I have also experienced the real connection between body and mind, how unresolved issues can present in our physical well being.    

Working now in the western suburb of Croissy-Sur-Seine I continue to enjoy the unique relationships developed and the diversity of the work that Counselling brings.  

I remain a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their code of ethics among the many other benefits provided by the organisation.
