A difficult
personal situation has prompted you to be seeking out a counsellor. I do
hope I can be of help to you.
As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is to listen as you unfold
your story in your own way. Friends have a tendency to chip in with
well-meaning advice, don't they? Or maybe you feel your problem would
not be understood by them.
What is so effective about person-centred counselling is that you would
be listened to without in any way being judged. You have the space to
hear your own words and thoughts without being interrupted. My role is
to help you gain personal insight and confidence.
I have been helped to overcome various personal struggles at different
times and, on each occasion, the simple act of talking with a counsellor
has been an experience which has helped me to know myself better and to
take another step forward. It can be hard sometimes to voice and face
difficult feelings but you can be sure of being listened to with
compassion and in complete confidentiality.
During the 2nd and 3rd year of my Advanced Diploma Course at Chester
College, I worked with clients at a GP Practice. Subsequently I worked
with my own clients in private practice. I never failed to be impressed
by the quiet power of person-centred counselling and I often felt very
humble and enthralled to be part of that healing process.
Please do feel free to contact me for an initial free half-hour to
decide how we want to work together. My current price is 25 euros per
hour but if this amount is difficult for your budget, I am sure we can
come to an arrangement.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy,
I look forward to talking with you ...
